Last weekend, Erin and Doug braved the cold February temperatures for their winter engagement session! I can’t help but love a couple that doesn’t let weather get in the way of some fun pictures; in fact, they weren’t afraid to risk getting a little dirty! We started at Hayden Run Falls in Dublin, which is a small, rather hidden waterfall at the end of a one-way boardwalk path. The waterfalls produce a small mist, and if you look closely at the first image, you can make it out just slightly in the background. Even with the cold temperatures and mist in the air, Erin and Doug had such fun with eachother and were such naturals in front of the camera, you would never have known they were freezing! And here’s where they did risk getting dirty – they happily hopped the boardwalk fence and climbed onto a long tree limb perched perfectly over the creek. From there, we headed downtown to North Bank Park, where we got some beautiful images with the Columbus skyline as our backdrop; and of course we had to visit the nearby railroad tracks for some really fun shots! I think you’ll agree with me, that Erin and Doug did not let the weather bother them one bit; this adventurous couple allowed their love with one another to shine in their engagement images. Congratulations to Erin and Doug on their engagement; I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in May!
