Last month, I had the tremendous honor of capturing the wedding day of Michelle and Peter, at the beautiful Greek Orthodox Cathedral in downtown Columbus. It was a perfectly sunny September day; we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We spent the entire day at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, which has to be one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places of worship I ever seen – there was no reason to go anywhere else! We started in mid-afternoon as Michelle’s bridesmaids helped her into her dress; then came the incredibly meaningful ceremony, rich with Greek Orthodox custom and tradition. I had free reign to walk almost anywhere during the ceremony, so I had the opportunity to get some really interesting shots, including from the 2nd floor balcony! After the ceremony, Michelle and Peter took the time to greet every single guest as they made their way to the cocktail hour. The reception was MC’ed by Pete Downhour of Midwest DJ Pro – the same DJ I used for *my* wedding! The speeches brought everyone to tears, and the children’s breakdancing brought down the house! Congratulations to Michelle and Pete!
