A couple of Sundays ago, I met up with Erika and Tyler, who came down from Centerburg, to shoot their engagement session. It was the perfect fall day in Columbus – warm, a few clouds in a bright blue sky, and the leaves were changing color. We started at Inniswoods Gardens in Westerville, which was breathtakingly beautiful – and apparently we were not the only ones with the idea, because the park was absolutely packed! We managed to escape the crowds into the woods, where we were surrounded by trees with yellow trees, which made for some gorgeous photos. After the park, we headed to downtown Westerville, where we found some interesting historic buildings and doorways for more portraits. Erika and Tyler are a young, fun couple, and nothing was forced – you can see their energetic spirit and their adoration for eachother in these photos. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding next summer!
