It was the second Thursday in April, and spring had finally arrived! After just seeing snow in the week, the sun and warm temperatures were very much appreciated, just in time for Brianna + Jodi’s elopement! I spent two hours with these two a weekday afternoon, and it was positively lovely. Just the two of them, myself, their son Dylan and their officiant, Windi, at the Whetstone Park of Roses made it a cozy and intimate event. Before their ceremony, Windi began by facilitating a meditation session, which I thought was amazing. I had never seen that before and I think every couple should do this! After their quick ceremony on the observatory tower, we explored the park to find pockets of spring. And we did find some! From there, we headed downtown the Scioto Mile area for additional portraits. I had such a wonderful time with Jodi and Brianna – it has been an pleasure to meet them and a joy to capture their love.
