Carol + Trish’s courthouse ceremony in Delaware, Ohio was a last-minute addition to my March calendar. In fact, it was Carol’s daughter Autumn who reached out to me and booked me for the couple unbeknownst to them – my being there was a surprise to them! It was a beautiful afternoon, the last Friday in March. It was just Carol and Trish, and Carol’s daughter’s family, including 3-year-old flower girl Grace, who barely left her grandmother’s side. Carol and Trish have been together for over 16 years!
I only joined them for an hour of the day, but we spent the first 1/3 of it or so just waiting to be called! But there were plenty of sweet moments to capture even during that time. During the ceremony, they exchanged toy light-up rings due to one of the bands not arriving in time. And afterwards we took a quick walk in downtown Delaware for a few portraits.
It was an honor meet Carol + Trish and capture their courthouse elopement!
Thank you so much for capturing these moments, Amy! Your willingness to go with the flow and accommodate the circumstances was so kind. The photos are perfect. You are a true artist and we’re excited for the next time an occasion calls for a talented photographer!
Central Ohio, this gal comes highly-recommended!
I enjoyed the photos very much. Thanks Autumn.
