Christina + Patty and their new pup Jasper were visiting home from out of town for the holidays, and contacted me for some family pictures for just after the New Year. As it turned out, last minute scheduling conflicts meant family members were no longer able to join – but since these two are engaged, it became an engagement session! Which was just as well.
We met up a small park in New Albany on the second day of 2018, and it was a COLD day – temps were in the single digits! Normally I would suggest postponing an outdoor session with temps that low, but they were heading back to Boston the next day, so this was our only chance to shoot. Nonetheless, there was beautiful white snow everywhere and the sun was out! We had to take a few breaks throughout the session to warm up, but it was totally worth it. I love shooting in the snow!! I couldn’t have pictured anything better for my first shoot of 2018!
Now I just need these ladies to set a date for their wedding!!
