It was the second Sunday in November, when Amanda + Eric got married at Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove! Despite the chilly temps and cloudy skies, these two brought plenty of warm color to brighten the day. Amanda’s unique dress was custom made by local designer Malvar Stewart, and her colorful bouquet made by friend Xeno, along with other decorative florals from Jorgensen Floral. And not to mention the fabulous venue! I felt so lucky to got to shoot two weddings here in 2022!
Keeping things simple, I was on-site at Jorgensen all day, beginning with details, getting ready and staging Amanda and Eric’s first look. We completed most of their portraits before their ceremony in the greenhouse. The space truly brings the outside in, a perfect backdrop for all seasons. It was colorful, warm and lush.
After a day full of clouds, the sun peaked out after the ceremony giving us some golden hour we had to take advantage of! After some “just married” portraits, it was time to celebrate! Against the backdrop of the setting sun at Oak Grove’s reception space, guests enjoyed first dances, dinner, toasts and cakes slices from Belle’s Bread (one of my personal local favorites!). And as the sky turned dark, everyone danced the night away. Congrats to the newlyweds!
