I think Liz and Don’s engagement session reached an all-time record for the amount of times we were forced to reschedule because of weather! With the rainy past couple of months we’ve had, we must have rescheduled 3 or 4 times, I began to lose count! But eventually, the wait was worth it, because we had a nice summer evening with beautiful light on a Wednesday evening in early July. For their session, we envisioned somewhere completely different from their downtown wedding planned for this fall – so we visited the grounds of a newer wedding venue in town – Iron Gate Equestrian Center! We were so grateful that they were more than thrilled to share their space with us, and were so accommodating of our rescheduling. The grounds there are gorgeous and so vast! I feel like we could have continued exploring for hours. I look forward to returning to shoot a wedding here one day! In the meantime, check out Liz and Don’s adorable summer engagement!
