The theme of the day was magic, and does it get any more magical than this? Dean + Tim were married under the stars at COSI’s planetarium, and were whisked away on a unicorn-drawn carriage!
I began my day, on the last Saturday in September. with Dean and his attendants getting ready for the day at his downtown condo. Then I headed over to COSI to join Tim and his attendants before the ceremony began. Taking place in COSI’s Planetarium, it was truly unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It was out of this world! (I had to.) But truly, they were married under the stars in the middle of the day, and it was majestic. Once pronounced married, they shared their first kiss and the sky lit up in a rainbow of color!
Afterwards, we all headed outside, and at Genoa Park and against the downtown Columbus skyline, Tim and Dean were whisked away by a unicorn-drawn carriage!
We took some portraits back at COSI before leaving for their reception, down the road at the Boat House Restaurant at Confluence Park. The rest of us traveled by car, while the couple traveled by carriage! Everyone greeted the couple outside their reception venue upon their arrival. We headed into more portraits there before the couple joined their guests at cocktail hour. And then it was time to party!
The couple celebrated with dinner, toasts, a first dance, individual performances and a surprise duet, cake cutting and then, karaoke! And of course, some golden hour portraits! I’ll say again: this day was magic. Thank you, Dean and Tim, for having me be a part of it!
