It was a sunny and warm Tuesday evening in mid-September when I met up with Dominique in German Village. She had made plans throughout the week to celebrate Erica’s birthday. This evening she asked to make a stop at The Book Loft, a special spot for them, just to pick up a couple books. But in reality, she had other plans! Against a vine wall of gold butterflies, Dominique got on one knee, and Erica said YES!
Afterwards we spent some time taking some “just engaged” portraits at the beautiful gardens and outdoor bookshelves at the Book Loft, followed by a walk around the book of the German Village neighborhood. We chased that golden hour light at every turn! Full of smiles, laughs and snuggles, these two were a joy to photograph. What an incredible evening!
