It was my second weekend in a row at one of my favorite venues around, Strongwater Food & Spirits – how lucky am I? And this time with so many familiar faces! Ashleigh + Aaron came to through not one, but two of my prior couples, and both were in attendance!
Unlike so many of my couples, their wedding didn’t change all that drastically from their original plans. They always planned a smaller wedding, tiki-themed, with a night of trivia instead of dancing! The main difference was a few folks watching virtually and a bunch of masks.
Their day started with getting ready at LeVeque Tower, with a first look on the Scioto Mile. From there, their wedding party joined us for portraits on the Main Street Bridge and in the Franklinton neighborhood before the events began at Strongwater.
Keeping with the tiki theme, the couple made a cocktail in a pineapple together at their ceremony and later enjoyed it together at their reception. After toasts, cake and dinner, trivia night commenced! They had their wedding their way and it was perfect. Congratulations to Ashleigh + Aaron!
