Kenya + Kevin: Columbus Ohio Station 67 Fall Wedding

Kenya and Kevin had the most perfect fall wedding at Station 67! Their goal of having a laid-back, classy, daytime brunch wedding was achieved with the help of the talented planning of A Wedding by Sylvia!

I started my day with the girls at the Residence Inn hotel downtown, finding lots of great spots for pictures of all Kenya’s details. My assistant Jennifer Stone came in for just a couple of hours to assist, so she joined the guys. Later, we headed to Station 67, the location for all wedding events for the rest of the day. The ceremony took place in the historic train station, while the reception took place in a renovated space in the building – these two spaces, historic and modern, complimented each other well, and I found, reflected Kenya and Kevin’s style very well! The couple resides in New York (we did their engagement pictures there!) and wanted to bring a piece of the Big Apple to their Ohio wedding.

The day was beautiful and we were still able to take advantage of the fall foliage in early November! The downtown skyline also served as a beautiful backdrop to their images.

Their reception featured a brunch buffet and an omelet station by Two Caterers! What a brilliant idea – their guests loved it!

Their guests had a blast, and so did I! Congratulations to Kenya and Kevin!

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
