A few Sundays ago, I got together with Shannon and Adam for their fun engagement session in Columbus. They brought along an adorable sign with their wedding date, what a fabulous idea – it will look great for their Save the Dates! Shannon is a graduate student at Ohio State, and both are Buckeye fans, so it was only natural we started at the Ohio State campus, where we visited Mirror Lake and the Oval. It was a really windy day, but Shannon and Adam were such great sports, and we were able to get that “wind in hair” look that looks amazing in pictures! From there, we headed over to the Short North, and paid a visit to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams (my favorite!) where Shannon and Adam enjoyed their favorite flavors and Adam showed off his awesome Spiderman attire! Afterwards, we stopped at their favorite dinner spot, Press Grill, where Shannon and Adam shared some laughs over drinks (they returned for dinner after our session). We wrapped up our time together by exploring several blocks of the Short North neighborhood, and using the urban backdrop to get some really fun images that really reflected their personalities and the love they share. Congratulations to Shannon and Adam on their recent engagement, and I look forward to shooting their wedding next summer!
