What rain? The forecast had us prepping our umbrellas but instead we had a beautiful, sunny May wedding day! Emily + Bobby were all smiles, laughs and twirls as they celebrated their big day in several parts: first, getting ready at their home and at the Hilton Downtown, then their First Look and portraits at the Community Gardens at Franklin Park. Next, their Catholic ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi in the Short North, and finally, their reception at the Wells Barn at Franklin Park Conservatory!
From lush vines, to balcony views, to golden hour, many twirls on and off the dance floor, a surprise father-daughter dance, a private final dance and a sparkler exit – this day was non-stop beauty, warmth and fun from beginning to end! My second photographer Steve joined me for a part of the day for some awesome alternative perspectives. And the day was perfectly planned by Vowed Weddings!
These two adore each other and their people and I can’t wait to see what they do next!
