One thing about surprise proposals: they happen rain or shine! It was the first Tuesday in October, and Kenzie + Alyssa were both off work for the day, so Kenzie planned a day date for the two of them. They began their day with a morning walk at Inniswood Gardens… which is still lovely in the rain! And I left some clear umbrellas out waiting for them. In the rain, beneath these arches, and beneath umbrellas, Kenzie asked, and Alyssa said YES! And then we celebrated with more umbrella portraits throughout the park, which naturally, we had mostly to ourselves. Congratulations!
