After many years of friendship, it became something more. And last month, Amy + Annie eloped in Hocking Hills! They were married on a Wednesday morning, just the two of them, their officiant and myself, in a ceremony at the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel, and then we went on a hiking adventure at nearby Rhododendron Cove! The hike was a little more than all of us bargained for but it was all worth it for the shots!
We spent 5 hours together that day, and it was sunny, a bit hot, and absolutely beautiful. A reminder that you don’t necessarily need to keep coverage short at an elopement or tiny wedding! It was so lovely to get to document my couple getting ready and their first look before the ceremony, their first dance and cake cutting after the ceremony, and then a generously timed offsite portrait session.
And it’s not lost on me, after nearly 15 years as Amy Ann Photography, I finally have a couple named Amy + Annie!
