On the last Friday evening in June, Phillip surprised Mia by coming in from out of town. He set up this private spot at the Canopy Hotel in downtown Columbus and then out of nowhere… it poured! But when you’ve already waited 8 years for this moment, what’s another 30 minutes? We waited for the storm to pass, and then he dropped to one knee (in a rain puddle), popped the question, and she said YES! We celebrated with portraits, champagne, and a visit to the Goodale Station rooftop as the sun came back out!
