At their spring engagement, Amy + Linda told me they couldn’t head back to Linda’s home in Puerto Rico to get married on the beach there, so they picked the next best thing – the nearest beach to them here in Ohio… up north, at Lake Erie Bluffs! I personally find the water to be a source of zen and beauty, and the brides picked a gorgeous backdrop for their elopement!
Just the two of them, their colorful attire, their officiant and myself were present as Amy + Linda eloped on the beach. It was a windy Tuesday evening in late May with a forecast that promised rain (and I brought my umbrellas!), but it never did. We had a lovely evening together as they eloped against an equally colorful sunset.
And then they celebrated back at the pavilion with cake, dancing to K-Pop tunes, and card games – yes, just the two of them!
