It was the 3rd Saturday of May, one of the most popular weekends of the year, and I was booked all weekend for a huge multi-day wedding. But in between all the events I photographed that weekend, I managed to squeeze in a last-minute ceremony for Karen + Nancy!
Last year I photographed their daughter Sarah’s wedding. Inspired by her wedding, they decided to get married after 40 years together! That afternoon they were married at Broad Street Presbyterian Church in downtown Columbus, and luckily the timing aligned that I could photograph it!
The moment they walked down the aisle surrounded by rainbow flags waving – I won’t forget it.
