This December day at Grand Event Center was special indeed!
Guests were invited to a 60th birthday party… but as it turns out, their hosts had other plans: a SURPRISE WEDDING! Everyone was seated for dinner, they sang happy birthday, and then: “Imagine” by Ben Platt came on, Emmett + Patrick pinned boutonnieres on each other, their friend joined them on the dance floor as officiant, and a marriage ceremony began! The reactions of their guests, the cheering and the clapping, was a sound I won’t forget.
But before that, the grooms got ready together in their home, and we did portraits in downtown Columbus before the sun set!
After 20 years together, what an excellent way to become husbands!
