2024: Year in Review! | Columbus Ohio Wedding Photographer

2024, another busy, action-packed, super fun year! As we welcome the new year, I always look forward to my annual look back all the special events, moments and portraits I was a part of in the past year.

Let’s jump right in! The year in numbers:

  • 28 full day weddings
  • 7 micro weddings/elopements
  • 104 family & portrait sessions
  • 11 surprise proposals
  • 18 engagement sessions
  • 9 corporate projects
  • 10 newborn sessions
  • 6 senior sessions
  • 4 mitzvahs

Moments big and small, from celebrating milestones and accomplishments, to watching the kids grow, it was a privilege to be invited into your lives to document so many memories!

This year I photographed some truly unique celebrations: from Douglas + Jeff’s solar eclipse wedding in April, to Lexi + Becca’s renaissance-themed wedding in October. I also photographed 2 surprise weddings this year!

Weddings this year took me all over Ohio and to some new places out-of-state, including Pittsburgh, PA for Athena + Dana, and Buffalo, NY for Lauren + Bridget.

I had 8 weddings published in 2 different issues of 614 Magazine! I was also invited to participate at vendor shows at Franklin Park Conservatory, The Columbus Zoo and The Grand Event Center.

Over the summer, I celebrated reaching 5000 followers on Instagram, and in October I marked 14 years in business! Another milestone this year: I hit 400 weddings photographed! I also won Best of Knot for the 12th year in a row.

I am so lucky to call this my career, and I am sincerely grateful for every client and follower! For your support, for thinking of me for your latest milestone or updated portraits, for sharing my name when your friend asks for recommendations. For following my work, for liking, sharing and commenting on the work I share. Your support means the world!

Here is one photo from every wedding/event/session I photographed in 2024!

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!

Delightful recap collection! I admired the solo sunny shot against the wall and the goodale fountain engagement especially. The way you capture light is my favorite and as always, love your take on love. Congratulations on a fabulous year!
