Yesterday we returned with her fiancé Luis for their engagement session! Her one request: get that same shot on the hill at sunset! Bethany + Tyler were married at one of my favorite venues in town yesterday, @grange_audubon! She wore a tea length dress in honor of her grandmothers who also wore tea length dresses at their weddings. They also had one of the most spectacular choreographed first dances I’ve ever seen. Everything about yesterday was sweet, meaningful and vibrant!

Yesterday in Cincinnati, I kicked off my fall wedding season with Sarah + Mark at the @monasteryeventcenter! It was a hot, colorful, sweet day with many familiar faces. Here’s to the newlyweds!

Double wedding weekend, let’s go! I guess you could call this my soft return from maternity leave, though it hasn’t really felt like I ever left… taking a leave while self-employed is tricky like that. (As you may have noticed, I have photographed 4 weddings since baby arrived!)

So yeah, 2 weddings on a holiday weekend: let’s get some smiling faces, some emotional moments, let’s capture the happiness and love, connection and togetherness, and maybe we’ll even catch some golden hour! And do it all while taking adequate pumping breaks 🙌 😂

Speaking of golden hour, we got especially lucky with this one. It had just rained, we thought there would be no chance of it. But then during dinner, this sliver of light appeared between the rain cloud and the horizon, I grabbed the couple and we caught all 5 minutes of golden hour! Can’t wait to share more from this whirlwind day!!
