I showed up on a Sunday afternoon in mid-July for a last-minute at-home elopement, and stepped into this literal dream. The couple designed and built this oasis in the corner of their bedroom in their German Village home! Surrounded by books, plants and their two kids, Chelsey + Shawn exchanged rings and vows, and became one, married by Windi of Run to an Elopement. Their afternoon also featured a pre-ceremony dance party, crystals, a meditative moment, and a handfasting, and their kids participated too. I was super honored to one of just 6 people (and 2 cats!) present to witness their union!
