Grand Barn at the Mohicans LGBTQ Wedding: Kelli + Sarah

Kelli + Sarah had such a perfect August day for their wedding at the Grand Barn at the Mohicans in Glenmont, Ohio! This was my first time shooting at this venue, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Just a little over an hour outside Columbus, this venue makes you feel like you’re lost in the mountains! With Kelli and Sarah living in different parts of the country, we didn’t get a chance to formally meet until the wedding day, but we clicked right away!

The couple did everything on-site for their wedding day, which made their day super easy and laid-back. After each of them got dressed, I staged their first look just outside one of the nearby cabins. Their wedding party joined soon after, and we got most of the portraits out of the way before the ceremony. Though, I did invite them out for a couple more portraits during dinnertime to take advantage of some of that golden hour light!

Their reception continued into the evening, with dinner, toasts, smores, cornhole, Jenga, and dancing outdoors on the patio! Congratulations ladies!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
