Columbus Ohio Boat House Wedding: Michelle + Priscila

What a beautiful fall day it was for Michelle + Priscila’s early October wedding at the Boathouse in downtown Columbus! We began our day getting ready at a family member’s home in Orient. They happened to be just moving into the house so we actually lucked out with some rather empty rooms with bright walls and full of natural light! We staged their first look in the neighborhood, and then headed downtown. On the way, I spotted a couple of really beautiful spots, and Michelle and Pri were totally cool to pull over and get some portraits there! Once we got to the Boathouse, we had some more time for portraits before their ceremony overlooking the Columbus skyline, where they exchanged vows they wrote themselves. Following some more portraits with their wedding party, the party was underway! With Pri and her family being from Argentina, the music reflected this and kept the dance floor full all night long! You haven’t lived till you’ve seen a line dance to “Achy-Breaky Heart” in Spanish! Congratulations ladies!!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
