Amy + Nick: Columbus Ohio Fall Wedding at Irongate Equestrian Center

Amy + Nick had a sweet early fall wedding at Irongate Equestrian Center up in Croton, OH. It was my first time photographing at this newer venue and I had a blast! The indoor and outdoor spaces are absolutely beautiful. And we had a most perfect day to work with!

It was the last Saturday in September when I met up with Amy and Nick and their wedding parties in mid-afternoon. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so instead we did some separates portraits before the events of the day began. There were a lot of tears at their heartfelt outdoor ceremony! Immediately following, we did all their portraits against gorgeous golden hour sunset.

The night continued with the usual formal dances, toasts and cake cutting, but guests also enjoyed two different food trucks for dinner, root beer floats for dessert, and Amy + Nick topped off the day by releasing a paper lantern at sunset. Congratulations to these two and thank you for having me capture the day!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
