Carli + Stephen: Columbus Ohio Fall Wedding at Grange Insurance Audubon Center

Carli + Stephen’s fall wedding at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center was laid-back and beautiful! Carli has been a friend of mine for a couple of years now, and we’re both from the east side suburbs of Cleveland. So I was so happy to hear that she and Stephen were engaged, and again thrilled when she reached out to me to shoot their wedding!

We began our day getting ready at the Courtyard by Marriott downtown. After getting some great detail shots, and capturing Carli’s finishing touches as State of Face and Shannon Goode perfected her look, her mother and bridesmaids helped her into her dress. From there, I staged her and Stephen’s first look in a nearby alley, which made for a great city backdrop. We then headed to the Ohio Statehouse for portraits with their family and their full wedding party, both indoors and outdoors. It was a beautiful day, a little chilly but great for November! Plus, with the unseasonably warm fall we had, there was still plenty of fall color left in the trees! (Perfectly complimented by florals from Flowers on Orchard Lane.)

We ended our travels at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, where, after a few more portraits, Carli + Stephen were married under a gorgeous chuppah handmade by Stephen himself, and officiated by Carli’s brother. The party continued well into the evening, and the dance floor was packed with Rock the House Entertainment spinning the tunes! Thanks to Carli + Stephen for including me in your big day!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
