Christine + Kyle: Youngstown Ohio Wedding at Avalon Country Club

What a pleasure it was to travel to Hermitage, PA (just outside Youngstown, OH) to photograph Christine + Kyle’s big day! After an entire month of what seemed like non-stop rain, we had a bright, sunny day for their 4th of July wedding day!

My second shooter Claire Goodfriend came in from the Cleveland area that day to join me, and we separated at the start, with her with Kyle’s side and myself with Christine’s side. Prodigy Cinema came in from Columbus to film the day as well! Christine and Kyle did not want to see each other before the ceremony, so after each of them got ready, we did separate portraits on the grounds of the country club.

When Christine walked down the aisle at their outdoor lakeside ceremony, you could just feel the overwhelming joy from them, their families and all their guests! After Kyle dipped Christine for a dip during their first kiss, they were greeted by bubbles from their guests as they exited down the aisle. We immediately got right to work on their family, wedding party and couples portraits, traveling around the grounds in golf carts to take full advantage of the beautiful property! As the sun set, we had beautiful evening light that became truly magical when shooting against their fountain!

Their reception was nothing short of rockin! The energy in the room was insane, there was always something happening! Thank you to Christine + Kyle, for inviting us to capture your wedding day! We had the greatest time and wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
