Erica + David: Columbus Ohio Bexley and German Village Engagement Session

I was so excited when I learned that my friends Erica and David were engaged! I was maybe a little more excited when they asked me to take their engagement photos! I have known Erica and David as fun and laid back, and David in particular is always making Erica laugh, so I knew we were going to have a great time!

We started at Cherbourgh Bakery in Bexley, which is a bakery that serves up gluten-free treats! We noshed on cupcakes (chocolate for Erica, carrot cake for David), and I had one of my own – yummy! Then we headed to the German Village, where we started with some fun shots in Schiller Park. After a outfit change into something a little more formal, we grabbed some Starbucks iced teas to cool off, and explored the neighborhood.

It was a *really hot* day – I mean 90 degrees and sun blazing – but Erica and David didn’t let it get to them. We had a blast checking out all the charm German Village has to offer, and using it to compliment their own cuteness as a couple! Congratulations to my dear friends Erica and David on their engagement, and enjoy these adorable pics!

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
